Thanks for the comment. And I loved your Web site! Mind if I link it for my students?...

I try to stress critical thinking, getting students to master facts and logic so that they can come to their own conclusions about American Politics. That's what's so interesting about your web site, it IS critical thinking. Wish my students could get it.

Again, I really liked your stuff. It seems like the Right Wing is the only bunch that is thinking and articulating a vision today. Its refreshing to see someone like you, on the other side, presenting an alternative view on politics today. Keep it up!

I'm not crazy about your politics, but I love your page.

If Bev Diamonstein is the best political wife, does that make Al the most difficult husband?

Thanks for keeping this article about Haley on your web site; it will remind everyone how much of a fool he made Sen. Glenn and the other Dems look during the hearing. I wonder why the USJD never moved to indict? You know what they say, 'you can indict a ham sandwich,' I guess there was no evidence to back-up the "allegations."

Hey, if you ever leave the exit your from in NJ come on down to Yazoo City and experience the real world or at least a real ass kicking.

I just stumbled into your website, and I LOVE IT! I have had this computer since last March, and this is the first decent website I have
seen so far. Everytime I go into one (political) it is Clinton bashing, and I am sick of it! I feel he is the best President we've ever had, and that is what is killing those right wing hypocrites. If he was a Republican, they would have turned their heads at his wrong doings and would have kissed his butt from sun-up to sun down!...  Thank you so much for having it for us people who are still playing with a full deck.

Take care,

Buff2

FINALLY!
....an up and in political site! Barr none!

    JL

I found your site more by accident than anything else, from an obscure link on Yahoo. Once I started browsing around, though, I was glad that I'd found it. Finally, someplace that finally agrees with most of my political issues.  In a school that seems mostly hard-lined right-wing nuts, I oftentimes find myself being out-gunned in any sort of a debate in many/most/all of my classes, solely because they have strength in numbers, and I can't reword my arguements as much as they can. Your site is one of the small joys in my life, so I want you all to know I support you all the way.

...a great column I look forward to reading daily!!!!!!!!

At last I have found an island of hope in the vast right-wing conspiracy that is the Internet.

I have been getting your daily reports from Washington for a couple of weeks now.

Today's inspired report on Mr. Safire, has made me a subscriber for life.

I can't thank you enough for brightening my day, week and my picture of America.

A grateful nation thanks you.

    Barbara Sehr

Keep up the good work,

I wanted you to know, that in the new Pulitzer Category for Internet Journalism, that you are definitely Pulitzer material with your daily report. <smile>

Keep up the great work your doing!

Great story. Maybe it should be used to fight for legal reform.

...I want to express my appreciation for your column about Larry Lawrence, and wish to get more of your publications.

...If you want to shorten this, we could read it on the Washington Journal right now.

. . .I really appreciate it. Please keep up the good work! It really makes my (political) day every day!

    Best wishes,

Dear APJ editors,

I opened my e-mail first thing this morning over here in The Netherlands and read with pleasure your coverage of the HJC proceedings for impeachment. I did not realize until well into the morning that I had neglected to pick up the International herald tribune that comes through the door every morning and for which we spend a princely sum of money. I realized it was because I was already informed. I had no hunger for the newspaper.

Thanks. You are doing a great job.

    Linda Deak

Keep up your work...I'll check your site often. Just as Rush Limbaugh respects Traficant (this months guest in the Limbaugh letter!) I appreciate your contribution to the political process.

Your comments on the Rutherford Institute's involvement in the Jones case are right on. These guys are a bunch of religious nuts who can't get over the election of the finest President since JFK.

To answer your question of "who would date Paula Jones?", you can rest assured that Don Campbell wouldn't have anything to do with her!

    J. Millard

Finally, I enjoyed reading your article rebuking that editorial from the NY Times that lambasted Reno. (Now that I discovered your web site, I will read it often.)

    Sincerely,
    Jon Gold

Hi,

I just happened to find your site for the first time. It was totally enjoyable! It "sounds" exactly what liberal talk radio would sound like if there were such a thing as liberal talk radio. I just couldn't stop laughing!

I've clicked your site into my favorite places. Whenever I need a good laugh, I'll return to it.

    Thanks!

Great Web page! I'll make it a point to stop by and see what you're into.

    Best regards.
    J. Swadesh

I have bookmarked it.

I do believe it's well done and have enjoyed reading it.

I'll check in from time to time--and I have recommended it to a number of colleagues.

Thanks for your prompt service.

I enjoy reading your articles--it's great to hear from a stand-up liberal (who's proud of being a liberal) in the media.

I read your articles every morning--don't stop writing. I almost had a heart attack when you wrote the "1 million reader" paragraph the other day. I thought you were pulling the plug. Don't every do that--you're a great morale booster.

Keep fighting the good fight!!

Hi Jeff,

I am sure that you are going to receive a "lot" of mail about this column. No wonder your ratings are up!

This "interview" style of writing is great.

Best regards,

    Maryvonne CM Martin

My husband and I enjoy your daily e-mail reports... the first e-mail we read every morning. You are right on and mostly we agree with everything you have to say.

    Mary Weisz

I look forward to your spotlighting that which needs light.

    Regards,

The Editors:

I have finally found someone on the Internet who isn't "out to get our President, Wm. Jefferson Clinton. Keep up the good and fair reporting. I read your 'SITE" EVERY DAY AND IT KEEPS EVERYTHING IN THE PROPER PERSPECTIVE. Let's hear from other readers who will refute these unfounded accusations. These are diversion tactics and it makes me ashamed to even read some of the ridiculous rumors -- I wish someone would win a huge "law suit" and make people afraid to print anything they wish. I am a senior citizen whose husband was a Navy Captain and awarded the Navy Cross and two purple hearts by Admiral Halsey and Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt. My father was a Veteran of World War I, so I revere the Arlington National Cemetery.

Pres. Clinton did no more than the other Presidents did--follow the rules. Thanks for your input.

I enjoyed your comments on Sen. Thompson's committee and on Harold Ickes.

Good scathe! Saying that Bill Safire isn't connected to the current Washington establishment is about as damning a statement as I've ever heard! Of course, he probably would take it as a compliment, as would I.

A truly insidious disease, indeed.

    Phil A. Minyon

I'm stunned the GOP actually thinks they can nail the VP for trying to drum up funds when the "Elephant Gang" is just as guilty, if not more so!

And "Messy Jesse" Helms....what excuse can be used to defend HIM??

Despite being a North Carolinian, I never HAVE voted for that horse's a__, and I never WILL.

At any rate, keep up the good work.

    David L. McNiel

I could not agree with you more on your opinion stated below on the Iraqi situation. Guess that trip to the middle east has put an extra sense of intellect on the subject. You hit the topic right on the head.

Keep the pressure on, and good luck, thanks for your story.

As a recent subscriber of yours, I am more than thrilled to note several things in your magazine that is of interest to me, particularly the recognition of argument process that seems to escape most in the media.

To make my point a little less lengthy, a number of your articles have pointed some of that out. I

Good Morning:

I truly enjoy your week-day e-mails, from here in Ottawa, Canada. We here in Ontario are masters at sucking the excrement of political correctness.

I look forward to reading more of your articles.

Your article today was the best! Keep up the good work.
